Short Bio: 

Dr. Brown is professor of medicine and chief operating officer of The University of Arizona Cancer Center. He oversees clinical and clinical research operations for The University of Arizona Cancer Center, and also business, development, communications and marketing operations.

Dr. Brown received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed a residency in internal medicine at the Shands Teaching Hospital, University of Florida, and a fellowship in medical oncology at The Johns Hopkins University. He received his master’s in business administration from Rice University.

Dr. Brown's research focuses on therapeutic development in gastrointestinal malignancies. His professional and academic interests include health care policy and international health care delivery systems. He was selected as a Jones Scholar at Rice and has been included in Best Doctors of America since 1998.

He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, subspecialty medical oncology.
