Short Bio:

Dr. Hazard earned her baccalaureate degree from Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. She earned her medical degree in Buffalo, NY, at State University of New York. In 2004, Dr. Hazard completed her internship and residency training at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, Utah. Prior to her appointment with the Arizona Cancer Center, Dr. Hazard served as clinical assistant professor at the University of Utah, Department of Radiation Oncology.

Dr. Hazard specializes in gastrointestinal cancer, neuro-oncology, melanoma, and breast cancer. She has extensive experience in the use of intensity modulated radiation therapy, and high dose rate brachytherapy. Dr. Hazard's research interests include evaluating novel chemotherapy drugs combined with radiation therapy, as well as evaluating radiosurgery techniques, with a particular focus on rectal and pancreatic cancers. She recently served on the National Comprehensive Care Network (NCCN) panel as an expert in esophageal, gastric and pancreatic cancer.
