Step into the Arizona Cancer Center, and you know right away you're in a place of hope, healing, and discovery-a place where open spaces and broad walkways carry the promise of prevention and cure.

This is the work of the Arizona Cancer Center. Everyone who works here, everything that's done here is grounded to and deeply rooted in one simply stated mission: We exist to prevent and cure cancer. We do that through leading-edge care for and treatment of those who have encountered cancer, through research into new techniques for prevention and cure, and through educational outreach programs that help millions reduce their cancer risk.

This broad and deep approach has earned us designation as a comprehensive cancer center by the national Cancer Institute, the highest ranking awarded by the NCI. We're proud of our national reputation and of the breakthroughs we've initiated in cancer diagnosis, treatment and prevention. Many of the techniques we've developed here have become worldwide standards of care.

Our patients come to us from throughout Arizona, North America and countries around the world. They come to receive promising new cancer therapies and the latest, most effective information on cancer prevention. Many of the treatments we offer are available nowhere else in the state. In some cases, the advanced treatments we pioneer and the promises they carry are available at few other places on earth.

Finally, through an affiliation with the Virginia G. Piper Cancer Center at Scottsdale Healthcare, Phoenix area residents can receive some Arizona Cancer Center services without traveling to Tucson.
