The Special Populations Shared Service Investigators and staff have years of demonstrated success in working with special populations, and provide Arizona Cancer Center Investigators and Research Programs with a range of activities. These activities include:

Culturally competent text translations from English to Spanish and Spanish to English
Grant support
Outreach and educational activities in health fairs and other settings
Culturally & Linguistically Appropriate Questionnaires
Working with promotoras
Development of Support of Models for Participant-Focused Research and Educational, Promotional, and Informational Materials
Training for researchers and their staff on cultural, traditional, political, and ethical issues crucial to successful work with different populations, utilizing workshops, seminars, classes, and lectures
