Functional Genomics Shared Service
The mission of the Functional Genomics Shared Service is to provide University of Arizona and Arizona Cancer Center Researchers the opportunity to utilize functional genomics approaches in model genetic animal systems to address questions of interest. Services include RNAi screening in animal cells, including combined genetic and therapeutic manipulations. We also provide space and facilities for genetic experiments using Drosophila, including the production of transgenic animals. In addition to physical assistance, we provide conceptual help in designing approaches and specific experiments using invertebrate Functional Genomicss.
